The LLL awakens leaders to inspire action and shape thriving communities through leadership training, wellness practices, small group circles, coaching, creative expression, and a capstone community engagement project during a 8 week immersive experience.
Graduates are equipped to more deeply engage in community leadership, advocacy, activism, and organizing. They are activated into roles that support and/or build capacity in community organizations, coalitions, and other entities that impact social needs.
Parents and Practitioners for Liberation (PPL) is a Changemaker Academy program that equips Black parents, caregivers, and community practitioners with the tools to raise thriving children and advocate for educational equity.
Through two core components: the “We Gotta Talk” Parenting Workshops for K–12 advocacy, and the Parenting for Liberation Learning Lab (Coming Soon!) for families with preschool-aged children, the PPL blends healing-centered parenting, cultural affirmation, and community organizing.
Participants gain skills, confidence, and networks to nurture their children’s wellbeing and hold schools and systems accountable. Together, we are building a pipeline of empowered parents and guardians from early childhood through high school.
