Hey sis, if you’re someone who loves a laid-back chat over coffee and just wants to meet new folks in a casual setting, our Coffee Chat is your scene. We come together to center Black conversations in a space we create for ourselves.
The Coffee Chat is a relaxed space to connect with others in the community. These gatherings create room for real conversation, new friendships, and shared reflection about life, work, and the issues shaping our communities.
Women come to the Coffee Chat to slow down, meet new people, exchange ideas, and build relationships that often grow into collaborations, support networks, and lasting friendships.
We meet on the first Friday and second Saturday of each month starting at 9am (and often stay through lunch time) at Mangiafoglie, a Black-owned vegan italian restaurant on 4th Street in Long Beach. Come through and bring a friend.
